Our Projects
What are we doing and how could you join in and help?
EVERY PERSON MAKES
A DIFFERENCE!
On the first and third Sunday of every month the Nightcliff Feeding the homeless van takes the streets to feed those in need.
This project has been running for over 3 years and feeds a nutritious meal to those most vulnerable. A driver and passenger deliver individual meals to anyone who needs a warm meal and a smile.
Cooks who prepare 10-20 vegetarian meals in recyclable take-away boxes. Our cooks are either members or Friends of Nightcliff Lions.

Nightcliff Lions sponsors local communtiy members to get a Lions Hearing Dog.
Lions hearing dogs gives a new quality of life to those hearing impaired. When community members receive a Lions Hearing Dog, Nightcliff Lions helps with the acclimatization and training of the dog, just like Kerry of Palmerston and his dog Howie.
Lions Hearing Dogs costs $30,000 to train. This covers the initial purchase of the dog from the shelter, food, veterinary tests and treatments, staff for training and kennel management and more.
The Children's film festival is an annual free event for local families with children who are in need of some respite and fun. Tickets are free for children with disabilities, severe or chronic illnesses, low-socio-economic backgrounds and their family or carers.
Nightcliff Lions also supplies a couple goodies to enhance the experience, previously this has been popcorn and ice-creams.
Contact us if you would like more information or to be involved.
